Hearts of Oak’s opponent in the CAF Champions League, CI Kamsar on Thursday, September 2, 2021, drew 1-1 with Warkiya Athletic Club in a pre-season friendly on Thursday in Conakry.
The Guinean outfit has been busy in the last few weeks preparing to take on the Ghana Premier League Champions in the preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League.
As part of the preparations, the team has been playing a number of friendly matches to give the head coach the chance to try out new tactics and assess the players.
In one of the friendly matches today, CI Kamsar engaged WAC and managed to give a good account of themselves.
On the matchday at the September 28 stadium in Conakry, goals from Gaoussou Siby and Nsingani Salazaku canceled out to force the match to end in a draw.
CI Kamsar are expected to play another friendly this weekend before taking on Hearts of Oak in the CAF Champions League.
