Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are likely to lock horns with some top teams in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup playoffs with the draw set to be held on Wednesday October 9, 2019 in Egypt, Cairo.
The Porcupine Warriors were knocked out of the CAF Champions League qualifiers following a 3-0 away defeat to Etoile Sportive du Sahel of Tunisia despite winning the first leg tie 2-0 in Kumasi.
Etoile progressed to the group stage of the competition with a 3-2 aggregate scoreline.
Coach Kjetil Zachariassenand and his lads are likely to face some of these top teams on the continent such as Enyimba (Nigeria), RS Berkane (Morocco) Al-Masry (Egypt), Horoya among others in the draw.
The first leg of the group stage kicks-off on October 29, 2019.
