CAF Confederation Cup: AshantiGold midfielder Amos Addai confident of win over RS Berkane in Morocco

Ashantigold midfielder Amos Addai is highly optmistic of a victory over RS Berkane in the return leg tie of the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday.

The Miners earned a slim 3-2 advantage over the Moroccan side in the first leg encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium about a fortnight ago.

According to Addai, Ashgold is ready and prepared for the clash as they eye qualification to the next stage of the competition.

“I am very confident that we will win this game and progress to the next stage of the competition because we believe in ourselves that we have what it takes to shock our opponents at their own backyard,” the 23-year-old told Dailymailgh.com after of the game on Morocco.

He added, “I can assure our fans of victory against Berkane. We know how difficult it is to overcome a North African side and we’re ready to make a name for ourselves and nothing will stop us from making it to the next stage.”

The Miners left the shores of the country on Wednesday to Morocco for the big game.
