Ashanti Gold SC striker Hans Kwofie has called for support ahead of their game against Burkinabe side Salitas FC on Sunday.
Ashgold will host Salitas at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium at 3pm on Sunday as they commence their 2020/21 CAF Confederations Cup campaign in the first preliminary round.
Hans Kwofie has asked fans to rally behind the club wherever they find themselves and also remember them in prayers.
"I'm calling on all our supporters to remember the team in prayers and also rally behind us with their support despite watching us from home and we shall deliver for them anytime we step on the pitch," he said.
"I'm going to score against Salitas FC tomorrow if only the coach gives me a starting place in his team."
The 31 year old scored a brace against giants Hearts of Oak in their 2-2 stalemate at the Accra Sports stadium last Tuesday.
