CAF Confederation Cup: Dreams FC likely to play home game against Zamalek in Ivory Coast

Dreams FC could play their home game against Zamalek in the CAF Confederation Cup semifinals in Ivory Coast.

Per recent inspection done by CAF, the Baba Yara Stadium will have to meet certain requirement before it can host certain category of games, including the semifinals of the Confederation Cup.

The Continental football governing body (CAF) is said to have rolled out certain requirement for Dreams FC to fulfil before they can host Zamalek in Kumasi.

According to Kessben FM, The Still Believe lads home game against the Egyptian giants could be moved to Ivory Coast should they fail to meet CAF’s requirement at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Dreams FC defied all odds to reach the semifinals of the Confederation Cup in their maiden appearances.

The Ghana FA Cup holders qualified at the expense of the Stade Malien 3-2 on aggregate. They came from behind to draw with the Malian giants in Kumasi following a 2-1 away win in the first leg.

The Egyptian giants will host Dreams FC in the first leg on April 21, 2024 before the return fixture on April 28, 2024.
