The Porcupine Warriors defeated ten-man Zesco United at the Baba Yara stadium to revive their Confederation Cup Group C campaign.

Bonsu was instrumental for the Reds in midfield as Kotoko recorded their first win in the competition over the Zambian side.

Bonsu and winger Emmanuel Gyamfi scored one each in the first half to ensure Kotoko picked all three points in the crucial match.

However, Ghanaian striker Rahim Osmanu came off the bench score the only consolation goal for the Zambian side in the 73rd minute.

And the former Gefle midfielder who lasted the entire duration of the game praised his teammates on twitter for the hard-fought victory at the Baba Yara Stadium.
