Caf Confederation Cup: Muntari Tagoe warns Kotoko against complacency ahead return leg

Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Muntari Tagoe has warned his teammates against complacency ahead of the second leg of their CAF Confederation Cup final play-off against Coton Sports.

The Porcupine Warriors surprising defeated Coton Sport in a five-goal thriller at the Military Stadium on Sunday in the first leg of the play-off.

Two goals from Daouda Kamilou (penalty), Gueme Araina for Coton Sport and three by Kotoko’s Emmanuel Gyamfi, Maxwell Baakoh, Abdul Fatawu have now put the Ghanaian club in good position to make it to the group stage for the first time since 2008.

Kotoko are now huge favourites to advance to the group stage of the qualifying campaign against the Cameroonian club who were massively tipped to beat Kotoko in the first leg on Sunday.

Despite the hard-fought victory, the former Medeama SC goalkeeper has cautioned his teammates to avoid been complacent ahead of the second leg encounter.
