Dreams FC coach, Karim Zito says they will build on their performance in the CAF Confederation Cup for the future.

The Ghana Premier League side who were making their maiden appearance in the CAF inter-club competition has made history by playing in the semifinals.

Having recorded a goalless scoreline against Zamalek in the first leg of the semifinals, Dreams FC suffered a 3-0 humiliation at the Baba Yara Stadium in the return leg campaign.

Despite failing to play in the final, Zito in a post-match interview failed to blame his players but insisted they will build on their performance for the future.

“I am proud of our players and I cannot blame them because we know what we were able to achieve," the veteran trainer said.

Zito highlighted the importance of composure and strategic management during matches.

He emphasized the significance of drawing lessons from the semifinal defeat as they continue to build for the future.

"We must be calm in matches and manage some things in a certain way. We must learn some lessons from the match as we build for the future, and it is important to suffer in order to get what you want," he added.

Dreams FC will now face Soccer Intellectuals in the semifinals of the FA Cup on Wednesday.
