CAF Confederation Cup: Richard Osei Agyeman declares himself fit for AshantiGold's clash against RS Berkane

Ashantigold SC defender Richard Osei Agyeman has declared himslef fit and ready for second leg tie against Morocca's RS Berkane in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The in-form defender suffered an injury during the second leg clash of the Confederation Cup at the Obuasi Len Stadium against Akonangui in the preliminary round.

“I am fit for our match against Berkane after my injury scare and I will travel with the team to Morocco,” he said.

“I got injured in the game against Akonangui and got a knock at the same place when we played Berkane in Obuasi but I am fit and ready to go due to the grace of God.”

Agyeman, who has been one of a rock at the heart of defence for the Miners has been named in the 18-man squad by head coach Ricardo Da Rocha for the trip to Morocco.

Ashgold will leave the shores of the country on Wednesday 25 to Morocco for the crucial clash with a slim advantage after beating RS Berkane 3-2 about a fortnight ago.
