Former Ghana international Samuel Inkoom has expressed optimism about Dreams FC chances ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup semifinals game against Egyptian powerhouse Zamalek.

The Ghana FA Cup holders will go into the return leg with the advantage having secured an important away draw in the first leg at the Cairo International Stadium.

Despite creating scoring opportunities, the Ghana FA Cup holders showed resilience and determination to prevent Zamalek from scoring.

Goalkeeper Solomon Agbasi delivered an outstanding performance to deny Zamalek from finding the back of the net in the epic clash.

Speaking on Maakye Sports, Inkoom asserted Dreams FC can edge out Zamalek with the right approach and determination.

"This is the time Ghanaians have to support Dreams FC. They should stay calm, and be positive, and I think they can get the results” he said.

Meanwhile, the former Asante Kotoko defender has expressed optimism about Dreams FC’s ability to beat Zamalek in the cagy encounter.

"Zamalek can be beaten. They can lose but all will depend on the mindset they take to the game." He added.

Dreams FC are unbeaten at the Baba Yara Stadium in the Confederation Cup and will aim to upset the Egyptian outfit this weekend to book a historic qualification to the finals.
