CAF Confederation Cup: Zamalek touch down in Ghana ahead of Dreams FC clash on Sunday

Zamalek Sporting Club, the Egyptian Premier League side, has touched down in Kumasi ahead of their showdown against Dreams FC in the CAF Confederation Cup semi-final.

The North African squad arrived Thursday afternoon, gearing up for the pivotal match slated for Sunday.

Both teams are poised for a fierce battle at the Baba Yara Stadium, where Dreams FC aims to capitalize on their home advantage. Despite a raucous crowd in Cairo, Dreams FC managed to hold Zamalek to a goalless draw last weekend.

Zamalek eyes becoming the first squad to triumph over the Ghana Premier League newcomers at home in this competition.

However, they remain wary of their track record in Ghana, having failed to secure a victory in their last five visits, suffering four defeats and one draw across all competitions.

The upcoming match promises high stakes and intense competition as both sides vie for a spot in the final.
