Dreams FC have secured a spot in the next stage of the CAF Confederations Cup after edging out Guinean club, Milo FC.

The Still Believe lads held Milo FC to a 1-1 stalemate in the first leg played at the Lansana Conte Stadium in Guinea and went into the return leg with the advantage.

The Ghana FA Cup champions showed resilience to emerge as winners in the second leg at the Accra Sports Stadium following a 2-1 win.

Milo FC took the lead in the encounter as the visitors went to recess with a goal advantage.

After the break, Dreams FC uplifted their game and levelled pegging through Agyenim Boateng, who scored from the spot.

The game seems to have ended in a stalemate but experienced attacker John Antwi stepped up and grabbed the match-winner in stoppage time as Dreams FC progressed with a 3-2 aggregated score.

Dreams will take on Sierra Leonean club FC Kallon in the final round of the qualifiers after they gain a walkover over Nigerien side AS Douanes due to the political unrest in the country.

The Still Believe lads will play home first before travelling for the second leg next month.
