CAF Confederations Cup: Dreams FC to play home games at Baba Yara Stadium

Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC will play their home games of the CAF Confederations Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The Still Beleive lads staged their preliminary games at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The FA Cup champions were hoping to play their home games at the Cape Coast Stadium but after inspection, CAF have rejected the stadium.

According to CAF, the Cape Coast Stadium didn’t meet its requirement criteria.

Dreams FC will now make use of the Baba Yara Sports for their home games in the CAF Confederation Cup.

The debutants are in Group C with Nigerian representative Rivers United, Club Africain of Tunisia and APC Lobito of Angola.

Dreams FC will open their campaign against Club Africain at the Stade Olympique Hammadi Agrebi on November 26.
