CAF Confederation Cup: Ghanaian giant Hearts of Oak excluded from 1st preliminary round

Ghana Premier League giant, Hearts of Oak have been given a bye in the 1st preliminary round of the 2022/23 TotalEnergies CAF Confederations Cup.

The Phobians secured qualification to the second-tier of the CAF inter-club competition after winning the MTN FA Cup at the end of the 2021/22 football season.

Ahead of the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederations Cup, some clubs have been given exemption.

The clubs include former CAF Champions League winners, Hearts of Oak.
