CAF Confederations Cup: We are prepared to take on Academica do Lobito – Dreams FC coach Karim Zito

Ahead of their impending clash in the CAF Confederations Cup, Dreams FC's coach, Karim Zito, affirms unwavering preparedness to face off against Academica do Lobito. 

Dreams FC trained yesterday at the match venue which is Baba Yara Stadium. The training session was supervised by Karim Zito assisted by his backroom staff.

The Ghana FA Cup champions prevailed in their third group game against the Angolan club after cruising to a 3-2 away win over their opponent on at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda.

Dreams FC opened the scoring after just 10 minutes into the game through youngster Abdul Aziz Issah but the host responded quickly and grabbed the equalizer four minutes later through Nelo.

Putting up a stellar performance, veteran striker John Antwi scored to restore Dreams FC’s lead in the 58th minute before Gael Aholou Avocevou sealed victory in the 88th minute.

The home team reduced the deficit on stoppage time through Samuel Cachimbombo.

"In terms of the preparations towards the game so far so good we are lucky to play them away we are lucky to see some of the tactics played in their background," he said.

"Also we planned since we were in Angola because we had two days off after the game I had a meeting with my players and they told me exactly what I wanted to hear.

"So we are prepared for this game because in terms of the result to us is we wanting to win will carry us into the game,"
