CAF u-23 qualifiers: Ghana set to travel to Algeria on Sunday ahead of crucial second leg

The Ghana u-23 team, the Black meteors are expected to fly out of Ghana to Algeria on Sunday, September 8, 2019, ahead of the second leg fixture of the final qualifying round to the 2019 u-23 Cup of Nations.

Ghana failed to capitalize on home advantage in the first leg and only drew 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium yesterday afternoon.

The Fennecs now have an advantage going into the second leg and could even seal qualification to the upcoming tournament if the game ends goalless.

The Black Meteors will travel to Algeria tomorrow and will train on Monday before going into the game a day after.

The fixture will be played on Tuesday, September 9, 2019, and is expected to kick off at 15:30 GMT.

The winner after the two legs will have a chance to play at the CAF u-23 Cup of Nations which will serve as grounds to securing qualification to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
