CAF Women's Champions League: Hasaacas Ladies coach Basigi praises Morocco’s ASFAR ahead of semi-final clash

Published on: 15 November 2021

Hasaacas Ladies head coach, Yusif Basigi has lauded Morocco's ASFAR ahead of their semi-final clash on Monday.

The Moroccans celebrated wildly after securing their semifinal spot with a barren stalemate in their last group stage game.

A win, a defeat, and a draw sent ASFAR to the semis, but now they will stop celebrating and focus on the vital step towards the final.

"It is a serious knockout stage where everyone wants to win to advance to the final. We have to work really hard to do so, and that’s our plan," coach Basigi said as quoted by cafonline.com

"ASFAR is a very good team, they play very well but we play better. We respect them as an opponent, but we can achieve the victory.

"Everyone know Sanaa Mssoudi is very good, but we can stop her."

The semifinals tie will be held at the 30 June Stadium on Monday, November 15, 2021, at exactly 2:00P.M.
