Italian-born Ghanaian Caleb Ekuban future with English championship side Leeds United hit deep waters, as the young talent will not return to the club.

Caleb, despite his poor performance earned an invite to feature for the Black stars of Ghana in their Afcon qualifier game against Kenya. His lone goal propelled the former African giant to the top of Group F.

Ekuban, 24, flopped at Leeds last season, scoring just twice in 21 games following a surprise move from Chievo, and Marcelo Bielsa decided he wasn't in the plans this season, loaning him out to Trabzonspor instead.

Ekuban has impressed in Turkey, bagging seven goals and three assists in 28 appearances for Trabzonspor to earn an international call-up.

Still, any football under Bielsa at Leeds looks unlikely despite these exploits for Ghana, and the Whites will surely sell him on to Trabzonspor permanently this summer.
