Ghana international, Caleb Ekuban scored his first goal of the 2020/2021 Turkish Super League season on Sunday afternoon to hand his Trabzonspor side a 1-0 win against Erzurum BB.
The Black Stars asset remains a key man for the Turkish top-flight league side although injuries have meant that he missed a number of games.
Today, Caleb Ekuban was called into action to feature for Trabzonspor when they hosted their Matchday 9 opponent at the Senol Gunes Stadium.
On the matchday, the attacker displayed outstanding form and managed to register his name on the scoresheet after just 23 minutes of play when he was assisted by Abdülkadir Ömür.
With both teams going at each other in the remaining minutes of the first half and in the second half, neither side could get on the scoresheet, leaving Trabzonspor to cruise to a narrow win at the end of the 90 minutes.
With today’s equalizer, Caleb Ekuban will hope to stay fit to ensure he keeps playing in subsequent matches.
