In a thrilling encounter at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday afternoon, Callum Hudson-Odoi showcased his playmaking prowess as Nottingham Forest succumbed to a defeat against Brentford.

The English Premier League clash saw Hudson-Odoi in the spotlight, as he not only started the game but also went on to grab a crucial assist.

Despite Brentford dominating possession, most of their control was within their half until the 3rd minute when Brazilian forward Danilo seized an opportunity, taking a touch off his thigh before volleying the ball beyond the reach of Forest's goalkeeper Flekken.

This early setback was followed by a brilliant free-kick from Ivan Toney in the 19th minute, curling the ball into the bottom-right corner and putting the Bees in the lead.

However, the drama unfolded further as Nottingham Forest fought back. In the 58th minute, Mee rose to meet Jensen's inswinging corner, powering a header into the top-left corner, leveling the playing field. The momentum continued for Forest as Hudson-Odoi, receiving a pass from Danilo, orchestrated a precise cross into the box for Chris Wood, who nodded the ball into the bottom-right corner in the 65th minute, putting the visitors ahead.

In the 68th minute, Toney's ball to Roerslev on the right set the stage for a good cross to Neal Maupay who buried the ball into the bottom-right corner. VAR checked the goal for handball. The goal stood, securing a dramatic victory for Brentford.
