CARA Captain confident ahead of Kotoko clash

Captain of Congolese side Club Athletique Renaissance de Aiglon, Olfaga Okilele has intimated their readiness to face Ghana Premier League giants Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the CAF Confederations Cup. 

The seven times Congolese Champions whill face the record Ghanaian Champions in the first leg of the preliminary round of games in the competition on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

Ahead of Sundays clash, Okiele has expressed how confident his side is, and believes they will be in Ghana to cause an upset.

“We have no extraordinary preparation for this [against Kotoko], it’s a normal match just like any other match,” Okiele told Kumas-based Fox FM.

“We are approaching the match as we would have done against any other side.”

“All our players who played the league last season are still with the club, there has not been any additions neither did anyone moved to other clubs.”

The DR Congo side are expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday and Captain Olfaga Okiele confirmed their arrival will be on the said day.

“If all go well we will arrive in Ghana by Thursday.”
