Bayern Munich thumped Hamburg 8-0 on Saturday, but once again Thomas Muller couldn't get on the score-sheet. However, Carlo Ancelottihas claimed that the goallessstar was the best player on the pitch.

Speaking toGoal.comabout how well Muller played, Carlo Ancelotti said:"Thomas Muller was the best player on the pitch, even if he did not score a goal.
"Muller was the key to this victory. He moved well and was involved in every attack."
The German star has only scored one goal all season for Bayern and he couldn't join in on the action in their 8-0 demolishingof Hamburg either. The playmaker did however get a hat-trick of assists, which shows that even if you don't score, you are still a vital part of the team.
Muller also spoke about how he really enjoyed the game and that it was a very good win: "It was really fun, at some points, (the performance) took care of itself.
"If you win 8-0, with good weather and with a good mood in the stadium, the club, the team and the fans can go home happy."
With Thomas Mulleronly scoring one goal so far this season in the Bundesliga there has been talk of a potential move to the Premier League, in particular, Manchester United. The comments of Carlo Ancelotti though seem to squash those rumours as he seems to be very happy with his German International and the way he is playing.
