Carlo Ancelotti has managed at many of the world's biggest and famous clubs.
He's won league titles in Italy, England and France, helped Real Madrid to their elusive 10th European crown after twice winning the Champions League with Milan and is now seeking yet more success in Germany.
Speaking to AS, the legendary coach has given his insight into each great club he's been at.
Having started out in management with Reggiana and then Parma, Ancelotti was appointed by Juventus in 1999; while hehad little to say about his time there, what he DID saywas very complimentary and positive:
"A top club; strong and well run."
The Italian had even less to say about Milan, the club he is most associated with having also won back-to-back European Cups with the Rossoneri as a player; in only two words, he perfectly conveyed just how strongly he feels about the club.
"My family."
Succeeding Guus Hiddink at Chelsea marked Ancelotti's first adventure overseas.
"My first experience abroad. The Premier League is a fascinating league and all the clubs have outstanding organisation."
Paris Saint-Germain was next up, where huge success was demanded by the wealthy owners.
"A challenge. They were a club who wanted to be a top team in Europe but still didn't have that mentality. Little by little we grew and I was involved in helping the team. Zlatan Ibrahimovic helped me a lot, despite the reputation he has."
Ancelotti delivered to Real Madrid what Jose Mourinho couldn't - La Decima. He was ultimately sacked just a year later but doesn't appear to be holding onto any grudges.
"It was a unique experience. They've created a history that has a global reach. I'd say they're a club that belongs to the whole world, not just Madridistas. It's something any coach ought to try, and I've done it. I'm happy about that."
Now it's Bayern Munich for Ancelotti, and a familiar feeling.
"It's like returning to Milan. A real family atmosphere, with a sense of stability that has been created by people who were players and are now directors. The atmosphere is fantastic."
