The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has set July 21 as the date to sit on Benjamin Acheampong’s appeal case against Zamalek with regards to the club’s failure to honour contract obligations.

The Ghanaian international joined the Egyptian giants in 2017 and went on to play a season with the side before they two parties had a falling out.

Later in bizarre circumstances, Benjamin Acheampong parted ways with Zamalek. Filled with disappointment, the attacker dragged the club to FIFA to seek payment of some monies he insisted he was owed.

FIFA after looking at the case presented by the player ruled against him as he failed to secure any form of payment.

He subsequently made an appeal at CAS where the body has now decided that it will hear the case on July 21 in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The former Asante Kotoko forward is confident of securing justice for his unfair treatment at Zamalek during his stay.
