Castagne: Atalanta’s fans will be helpful against Juventus

Atalanta wing-back Timothy Castagne expects the club’s supporters to help the team through their Coppa Italia quarter-final meeting with Juventus on Wednesday.

The Old Lady travel to Bergamo where they were troubled last month, with Cristiano Ronaldo rescuing a point in Serie A as La Dea looked as though they might inflict a first defeat of the season upon the Serie A leaders.

“It’s good that we will play against Juventus at home,” Castagne said to the club’s official media channels.

“Even against Roma, our supporters gave us an extra boost, despite being three goals down.

“They will also help us against the Bianconeri.”

The Belgian scored the first goal for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side as they mounted a phenomenal comeback against Roma to share the points despite being 3-0 down inside 40 minutes.
