Celta Vigo defender Joseph Aidoo opens up on club’s ambition to play in Europe next season

Ghana international, Joseph Aidoo has revealed that his Celta Vigo club wants to play in European inter-club competitions next season.

The club after playing 30 matches in the Spanish La Liga currently occupies the 10th position of the league standings.

With just a handful of matches left to play to end the season, defender Joseph Aidoo has stressed that the aim is to enjoy a strong finish to the campaign to secure a European spot.

“Currently, we are still striving hard to be up there. Next season we will be playing in the Europa League. That’s the target we have set for each other,” the Ghana defender said in an interview with Joy Sports.

Having played well this season, Joseph Aidoo wants to have a consistent consecutive run to ensure he merits a place in the next assignment of the Black Stars.
