Celtic senior players finding Ghanaian prodigy Frimpong difficult to hand in training

According to reports in Scotland, senior Celtic players are finding Ghanaian youngster Jeremie Frimpong an extremely tough opponent in training sessions at their Lennoxtown headquarters.

The 18-year-old put up a Man of the Match performance on his Hoops debut last Wednesday night as thye thrashed Partick Thistle. 5-0 in the Scottish League Cup.

Reports say that Frimpong is an “absolute nightmare” to mark in training for his teammates and the wide players and defenders hate having to stop him.

He was impressive in his debut for the club with manager Neil Lennon claiming afterwards “he took the opportunity and was excellent”.

His splendid display has seen him compared to Liverpool and Champions League winner Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The highly-rated right-back joined the Scottish champions on a four-year deal in the summer transfer window from Manchester City.

Frimpong is eligible to play for Ghana despite representing the Netherlands at the youth level.
