Celtic sign Liam Shaw as replacement for Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong

Scottish giants, Celtic have signed teenager Liam Shaw to serve as a direct replacement for Ghanaian defender Jeremie Frimpong.

Frimpong joined Celtics from Manchester City and spent 18 months at the club before earning a sensational move to German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen.

In a bid to find a replacement for Jeremie Frimpong, Celtic have agree a pre-contract with Sheffield Wednesday starlet Liam Shaw that will see the versatile player joining the side at the end of the season.

The midfielder who can play in a right-back role is said to be the direct replacement for Jeremie Frimpong with Celtic following the long tradition of having a solid plan in place with regards to player recruitment.

Liam Shaw, 19, has been a key member for Sheffield Wednesday in the English Champions this season and is tipped to become a world start in the near future if he continues to develop.
