Chairman Dr. Kwame Kyei calls for support for Kotoko and Aduana ahead of Africa campaign

Chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Dr. Kwame Kyei has called on Ghanaians to support both the Porcupine Warriors and Aduana Stars in their African Campaign.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko are representing Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup, and will play Club Athletique Rennaissaince de Aiglon on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Aduana Stars, Champions of the Ghana Premier League will be competing in the Champions League and will play Al Tahaddy in the preliminary round of the competition.

Both Clubs will be in action this weekend and Dr. Kyei, who visited the Kotoko playing body on Wednesday called on Ghanaians to show support for the country's representatives.

"We pay for Aduana to come home with victory against Al Tahaddy," he said. "As we pray for Kotoko we also have to remember Aduana in our prayers, so we can put Ghana on the map" he added.

The astute football administrator also called on the fans to troop to the stadium in numbers on Sunday.

"I am calling on the fans to troop to the stadium in numbers, because when victory comes, the success is for us as Ghanaian and I know we will victorious on Sunday," he said.

Club Athletique Rennaissance de Aiglon are expected to arrive in Ghana on Thursday ahead of the game on Sunday.
