CHAN 2022: Losing to Madagascar will make Ghana dangerous - Sudan coach

Sudan head cooach, Burhan Eldin Tia, says Ghana's defeat to Madascar in their 2022 Championship of African nations (CHAN) opening game will amke the Black Galaxies dangerous when they meet on Thursday.

Annor walker's side face the North Africans in a crucial game they must win convincingly to sand the chance of making it to the quarterfinal of the competition being held in Algeria.

Tia is confident his side are ready for the game after thorough preparations that also included a pre-tournament camp in Tunisia.

“We have been hard at training for the past couple of weeks. We had a training camp in Tunisia before coming here and have been hard at work in preparation for this clash," Tia said in his pre-match presser.

"They are obviously coming into the match after a loss which makes them dangerous, but we believe that being fully concentrated for the full match will be the difference in this match."

Sudan's first Group C game against Morocco, who are the defending champions, did not come on because the North African giants have withdrawn.

All teams in the groups have subsequently been awarded three points each because of Morocco's withdrawal.

The Ghana vs Sudan game will kick off at 7 pm on Thursday at Chahid Hamlaoui Stadium in Constantine.
