CHAN 2022: Mayor of El Khroub hoping Ghana advances to semi-finals

The Mayor of El Khroub, Constantine Mehdi Amine Daas on Wednesday, January 25, visited the Black Galaxies at the Golden Tulip hotel in Alexandria.

During his interaction with the team, he noted that he hopes Ghana will reach the semi-finals of the 2022 CAF Championship of African Nations (CHAN) tournament.

“Ghana is considered as the Brazilians of Africa so I am hopeful that you can progress further in the competition,” the Mayor of El Khroub, Constantine Mehdi Amine Daas said.

The Black Galaxies of Ghana will on Thursday travel from Constantine to Oran to continue preparations for the quarter-finals of the CHAN 2022 tournament.

At the last eight stage, the Black Galaxies of Ghana will face off with their counterpart from Niger.

That game will be played on Saturday, January 28.

Coach Annor Walker and his lads have not been in action for a week and should be feeling fresh and fitter on the matchday.

Saturday’s clash between Ghana and Niger in the quarter-finals of the CHAN 2022 tournament will kick off at 7pm.
