CHAN qualifier: Ghana to play Burkina Faso on September 22

Black Stars 'B' are set to play Burkina Faso in the Championship for Africa Nations (CHAN) qualifier at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 22.

Ghana has failed to qualify for the last two editions of the competition in 2016 and 2018 hosted by Rwanda and Morocco respectively.

The Local Black Stars were knocked out by Burkina Faso in the last qualifier, thus this represent another chance for the team to get revenge over the Burkinabes.

The team has been training in Kumasi ahead of the game with coach Maxwell Konadu first inviting 28- players to camp.

The former Asante Kotoko gaffer has pruned the squad to 23-players.

Ghana will also be participating at the 2019 WAFU Championship to be staged in Senegal to defend the title.
