CHAN2022: Ghana has no option than to beat Sudan tomorrow – Coach Annor Walker insists

Published on: 18 January 2023

Head coach of the Black Galaxies of Ghana, Coach Annor Walker has indicated that his team must fight to beat Sudan at all costs on Thursday.

The experienced tactician was disappointed last Sunday when Ghana lost the first match at the CHAN tournament in the opening Group C match against Madagascar.

Ahead of the second match tomorrow, Coach Annor Walker says his team will approach the encounter with the mentality of winning at all costs.

“Of course, it’s a must-win game. We played against Madagascar last Sunday and we lost. It was a painful defeat which has worried us so much. Tomorrow is our next game and it’s a must-win. Tomorrow we are going into this game with all that we can to win the match,” Coach Annor Walker said.

The Black Galaxies have trained well in the last couple of days with players confident of doing better in the Sudan game to secure the needed result.

A defeat could force the Black Galaxies to exit the 2022 CHAN tournament at the end of the group stage.
