Former Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko star Charles Taylor has tipped Brazilian midfielder Fabio Gama to annex the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League best player award prize.
The enterprising midfielder joined the Porcupine Warriors prior to the start of the domestic top-flight league season and has lived up to expectations.
He has been the poster boy for the Kumasi based club in the ongoing season and according Taylor, he would be surprise if he wins the player of the season prize.
“I didn’t know the qualities of Gama until last Saturday when I watched him against Dreams FC. I now understand why his absence affect the club. I would not be surprise if he is adjudged as the best player of the season” he said on Angel TV.
Asante Kotoko are now 1st on the table with 41 points after 23 matches.
