In-demand Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata has admitted his frustration at his lack of playing time at the capital club this season.

The 24-year-old, who returned to Real last summer after spending a couple of seasons at Juventus, is a summer transfer target for the likes of Chelsea and Manchester United.

Morata has made 24 league appearances, including just 13 starts, and has contributed with 15 goals. On Saturday, he scored a brace in the 4-0 league win over Granada.

Following the game, he said: "I'm not thinking about vindicating myself.

"I always want to go out and score, but there are times when you can't.

"Playing less than I hoped? Sure, but I'm always ready for when the coach needs me and that's the important thing."
