Premier League leaders Chelsea are reportedly keen on sealing a loan deal for 20-year-old midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

The youngster was afforded some respectable game time last season, and was thought to be ready to make his mark under Antonio Conte, with the Italian boss willing to play him in a striking role - but the former Juventus manager seems to prefer Nathaniel Chalobah, and has beenplaying him ahead of the promising Loftus-Cheek.

The player has been with the club since he was eight, and has never been out on loan. The Blues are of the view that regular playing time - more specifically at a Premier League club - would increase his chances of forcing his way into the first team.

According to theDaily Mail, Chelsea have received enquiries from 10 different club's over the player's availability. Newcastle are thought to be at the forefront, but the London side would prefer it if he moved to a top flight club.
