Chelsea are looking to sell 23-year-old Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi less than a year after his £33m move from Marseille.

Reports in theDaily Mirrorsuggest that the young prodigy, whoshone at Euro 2016, will likely be playing football elsewhere next season.

He has failed to impress new manager Antonio Conte and is yet to start for the Blues in the League, even during times where current first choice striker Diego Costa has been suspended or injured.

During the summer, he was also targeted by West Ham and Crystal Palace, with the Eagles even havinga deal in place with Marseille before the Blues hijacked the deal with a monster bid.

If Batshuayi had moved to South London, he would have likely led the line, but Palace eventually plucked for his Belgian teammate Christian Benteke. In West London he has not played since a three minutecameo appearance against Burnley on February 12th.

Since then he has been an unused substitute against both Wolves in the FA Cup and Swansea in the Premier League.

When he has made it on to the pitch, Batshuayi has flashed great potential and talent, especially early in the season. He scored a brace against Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup and was vital in the Premier Leaguewin at Vicarage Road in August, scoring in a 2-1 win.

The desire to sell Batshuayi is surprising considering Chelsea are also bracing against a barrage of bids from China for star man Diego Costa. The Bluesreportedlyrejected a world record £127m bid from Tianjin Quanjin in January for the Brazilian and are preparing for another series of bids from Chinese Super League sides.

As for potential replacements, Chelsea are said to be monitoring Alexis Sanchez's contract situation, as well as whether Swansea would be willing to sell Fernando Llorente.

Academy product Tammy Abraham could also break in to the first team after his incredible campaign at Bristol City, where the 18-year-old has scored 18 times so far this season in the Championship.
