Chelsea striker Diego Costa has rubbished claims of lunch meetings with Chinese club officials during the season.
Costa, who has scored 58 goals for Chelsea since joining from Atletico for £32m in 2014, was pictured in a restaurant meeting with agent Jorge Mendes and some unnamed businessmen that were allegedly connected to Tianjin Quanjian earlier this month.
But he insisted: "That has nothing to do with it, it's someone I was meeting with.
"There were other people there, my agent knows I have contact with other people. Every time people see me having dinner with someone they think it has to do with football."
