Chelsea to pounce as Bayern Munich invite Vidal offers

Chelsea are ready to pounce for Artur Vidal as Bayern Munich prepare for his sale this summer.

TMW says Bayern are happy to let Vidal leave after securing Leon Goretzka on a free transfer from Schalke, and they don't want his progress to be hindered by competition from the Chilean.

Vidal, 30, has spent three seasons at Bayern after joining from Juventus in 2015. He was a key player with the Italians during Antonio Conte's reign in Turin.

The duo enjoyed a strong working relationship as they won three consecutive Serie A titles together.

And it's believed Conte wants to bring Vidal to Stamford Bridge this summer – as long as he remains in a job.

Even if Conte were to leave, Vidal could still be tempted by the prospect of challenging for the Premier League title.
