Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Oduro Nyarko, says Chris Hughton can lead the Black Stars to success.
According to Nyarko, Chris Hughton is also a good coach who cannot be manipulated.
Chris Hughton was officially appointed head coach of the senior national team Black Stars in February this year. His first official games were the doubleheader against Angola in March.
Ghana beat Angola 1-0 at a packed Baba Yara Stadium, Antoine Semenyo scored late for Ghana. Ghana drew 1-1 in Luanda against Angola in the second leg. Osman Bukari scored, and Ghana still leads Group E with 8 points.
“Hughton is the man who cannot be manipulated; he is good. I think that he is the one who will stick to his guns and not allow himself to be manipulated. That makes him a good coach, coupled with his experience in the English premier league,” Nyarko told Citi FM.
“It (the Black Stars) is a young team and the possibility to lead this team to success is glaring,”
