Head coach of the Ghana U-17 team, Coach Karim Zito is calling on all Ghanaians to support the new Black Stars head coach Karim Zito.
In his view, once the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has already handed the national team to the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager, he must be given the needed backing to succeed.
Speaking on Angel TV, Coach Karim Zito insisted that coach Chris Hughton should be encouraged to build a strong Black Stars team.
He proposes that the coach must not focus on the criticism that will come with the job.
“Chris Hughton has been given the job, so we have to give him the needed support. We should let him think about building the team and not to let him think about our criticism, if not that he will lose focus,” Coach Karim Zito said.
Coach Chris Hughton has been given the Black Stars head coach job to replace Otto Addo.
During his time as the Ghana head coach, he will work with Didi Dramani and George Boateng as his two assistants.
