Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu had some words of encouragement for Ghanaians and others around the world and used a powerful picture to do this on his social media account.
Atsu had been in the news for an early retirement from the Black Stars but that was refuted shortly afterwards.
The 28 year old is currently in self isolation and awaits the return of the English Premier League which has been suspended due to the pandemic.
On his social media, he posted a picture of the legendary South African president Nelson Mandela with these words: “In isolation for 27 years. No family, luxuries, phone. Just hope and a vision. We can do this.”
