Christian Atsu has spoken of his uncertainty towards his future says The Shields Gazette.
The Ghana international played a part in our championship title winning season by contributing five goals in fifteen starts. Playing in thirty-two games overall.
Atsu joined us on loan from Chelsea for the whole of the season just gone and seems to have enjoyed his spell here from what we witnessed on the pitch.
Quoted on it, Atsu said: What I will say though, is that I owe them thanks. They have given me an opportunity, it`s a big club.
I will go back to Chelsea first, then we see.
Manager Rafa Benitez wasn't giving anything away when he spoke last about Atsu by saying: The future of a player doesn`t change with one action or goal, We know that he`s a good player. We have to decide.
