Ghana international, Christian Atsu has expressed his excitement after the Black Stars’ victory against Switzerland.
The Black Stars on Thursday put up a fantastic performance in their friendly match against the Swiss.
In a game staged in Abu Dhabi, UAE, goals from Mohammed Salisu and Antoine Semenyo propelled Ghana to a 2-0 win against the opponent.
Reacting to the result, former Black Stars regular Christian Atsu says it is an important win for the national team.
“Very important win for the black stars,” the former Newcastle United winger posted on Twitter.

The game against Switzerland is the final friendly match to be played by Ghana before the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The tournament is scheduled to commence on Sunday, November 24.
Ghana has been pitted in Group H and will face off with Portugal, Uruguay, and South Korea.
The first match for the Black Stars against Portugal will be played on Thursday, November 24.
