Christian Atsu joins the Premier League players charity fund

Newcastle United winger Christian Atsu has joined the Premier League players charity fund to assist the National Health Service (NHS) in England as the battle against coronavirus continues.

The 28 year old together with his colleagues are aiming to amass a total of 4 million pounds to donate to the NHS charities. The aim is to help preserve more lives during these dark times.

In the United Kingdom, 60733 people have tested positive for the coronavirus and 7097 have died as a result.

The former FC Porto man confirmed his involvement in the initiative through a tweet with the hash tag #PlayersTogether.
