Christopher Antwi-Adjei played once more in the unfamiliar left-back position in Paderborn's 1-1 in Furth on Friday. The SCP player is unlikely to have a career as a defender.

Steffen Baumgart has already had success with retraining measures. In preparation for the third division season 2017/18, the SCP coach ordered the defensive midfielder Sebastian Schonlau into central defense. Now the 26-year-old player is now Paderborn's captain and one of the best defensive players in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The already sorted out winger Johannes Dorfler made his breakthrough this season as a right-back. Left winger Christopher "Jimmy" Antwi-Adjei has acted as a left-back one time or another this season. This was also the case last Friday at 1-1 in Fürth, when he came on for Chima Okoroji in the 70th minute.

Nevertheless, there will be no retraining planned for Antwi-Adjei, although Okoroji's back-up Jamilu Collins currently has issues with the head coach.

"I'm glad that Jimmy is doing so well in this position and he's always an alternative. But I still see him more on the offensive," says Baumgart.
