Aduana Stars posted a 2-1 defeat over Dormaa Nkyenkyenkye on Thursday in a pre-season friendly game as the clubs continue preparations for the upcoming 2019/2020 season.
The two Dormaa-based clubs have been in camp for the last couple of weeks and decided to engage in a warm-up game to test the fitness level of their respective squads.
At the end of a good exercise, Aduana Stars scored twice to win the match with Dormaa Nkyenkyenkye succeeding in getting a consolation.
Captain Yahaya Mohammed and Pious Asante got the goals for the Ghana Premier League side as Dei Kingsley found the back of the net for the Lower Division side.
Similar friendly matches will be played by the clubs in subsequent weeks as teams hope to prepare adequately before the return of the local league.
