Renowned Ghana scout, Coach Ebenezer Sefah has noted that he was not impressed with the performance of Asante Kotoko on Sunday evening when they locked horns with Techiman Eleven Wonders.

The Porcupine Warriors club kicked off their campaign in the 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season yesterday at the Accra Sports Stadium with a 1-1 draw against the club from Techiman.

On the Matchday, Asante Kotoko emerged as the second-best side and nearly suffered a defeat at the hands of the opponent.

According to Coach Ebenezer Sefah, the Reds were not tactically good and players failed to show seriousness on the day as well.

“I don't know what the technical team of Kotoko told the players but the game I watched yesterday I could see that Eleven wonders Coach knew the Kotoko team very well that is why they were tactically better than Kotoko

“Not every player performs on their debut at Asante Kotoko but to be frank I did not see the seriousness of Kotoko players in the game," coach Sefah told Ashh FM.

He added, “The positive thing I saw in the game at Kotoko side was, they had a wonderful goalkeeper and the game was like Eleven wonders Against Felix Annan but just as Maxwell Konadu said, they should work hard and come back strong."

Asante Kotoko will hope to make amends and bounce back with a win next weekend when they face off with Berekum Chelsea on Matchday 2.
