Former Ashantigold coach Ernest Thompson has expressed his disappointment over his sacking by the Ghana Premier League side.

The ex-Ebusua Dwarfs trainer was shown the exit door after an uninspiring performance in the Ghana Premier League season.

He led the miners to a win, a draw and a defeat in his brief spell in charge.

In an interview with Happy FM, Ernest Thompson expressed disappointment about his sacking but blamed the Brazilian technical director Ricardo Da Rocha for fueling his sack.

“I was really disappointed when I got the information to leave the job but life goes on. As a coach, you are hired and to be fired. So, it’s normal." He said.

Meanwhile, the club has appointed Thomas Duah in the interim to lead the miners.
