Coach Kwesi Appiah is not just a good coach but a good person – Otto Addo

The head coach of the Black Stars of Ghana, Otto Addo has spoken highly of experienced Ghanaian tactician James Kwesi Appiah.

The Ghana coach will lock horns with Coach Kwesi Appiah on the touchlines when the Black Stars take on the Sudan national team later this year in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Speaking on the sidelines of a CAF Seminar for African coaches on Thursday, Coach Otto Addo described Kwesi Appiah as not just a good coach but a very good person.

"We all know Kwesi Appiah good guy a gentleman he is a good coach and a good person I really like him,” Coach Otto Addo said.

Ahead of their clash in the qualifiers for the 2025 AFCON, Coach Otto Addo believes it is impossible to wish James Kwesi Appiah the best since they are in the same group fighting for the same qualification ticket

“Normally I wish him all the best but against us surely it is not possible," the Ghana coach stated.

The Black Stars will face off with Sudan later this year in October in a doubleheader contest.
